I’ve been away for a long time.
How will you receive me?
Seeing your face, I know I am home.
Closing these two eyes
I remember our times together.
I see with my one eye all the lives
And paths we had crossed.
Seasons, births, celebrations and deaths
Dance before me – Flames
In the hearth of a well-lived house.
As eons come and go,
This body/mind appears and disappears
Like the flickering of stars in a night sky.
Looking into your eyes
And seeing my reflection –
I remember you.
