Medicine Buddha and Shaman Medicine: Healing Body/Mind and Planet” at Zuru Ling, Vancouver
This teaching retreat is about the deep roots of illness and how these can be determined, accessed, and worked with. The shaman sees how connections across time and space affect individual conditions, while Medicine Buddha practice guides us in transforming them.
It is difficult to know what to do – without knowing what needs to be done. Shamanism, through its presence across dimensions, can spot the links between physical, psycho-spiritual and karmic circumstances that lead to a particular condition. Once the fullness of the condition is identified, Medicine Buddha provides a model for healing all levels of unbalance.
The profound interdependence of self and planet cries out for this.
Open to everyone.

Theodore Tsaousidis has been conscious of his spiritual journey from an early age. Born in a rural community in Greece surrounded by mountains and valleys, he was profoundly shaped by nature and the ancient tradition of village elders and healers. His connection to nature and the spirit world is an integral part of who he is – as is his dedication to the Zen training he has followed for 30 years. He is also blessed by the guidance of the Venerable Zasep Tulku Rinpoche, director and teacher of the Zuru Ling Society in Vancouver and Tashi Choling in Nelson, B.C. His healing and shamanic sharing stem from,(delete comma) his cultural roots, personal experience, and Tibetan and Buddhist traditions. Theodore sees shamanism and meditation as a great alchemy for the healing of self and others.
