Zuru Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre Presents
EMBRACE GAIA: AWAKEN TO SPIRIT – A CEREMONY ON THE MOUNTAIN
Theodore Tsaousidis will give a talk and lead a meditation at Cypress mountain. We will move in nature through ritual, visioning, and creating mandalas to experience guidance. This guidance is always there, we just need to know how to ask and how to be open with all our senses to receive direction from the seen and unseen.
This is open to all and by donation
Our modern life-style is a blink on the scale of time compared to our existence on this earth and has for the most part, disconnected us from what and who we inherently are. Since peace, health, and well-being are the aims of all sentient beings; we need to re-connect with the rawness of nature to be vitally alive. Our body/mind is a vehicle to take us there. Come to the mountain to reawaken and celebrate the power and healing for all beings.
The technology to re-connect has been discovered and tested by Great Beings like Buddha, Patanjali,Rumi, Socrates, St Francis and countless more seemingly ordinary beings in the midst of us. It is available to everyone who desires to open to the joy and peace of being truly alive.
Location: Cypress Mountain Vancouver, BC. (Meeting in the parking lot of Cypress Bowl by rental shops.)
Date: Sunday, July 17th
Time: 6pm-9pm
Theodore Tsaousidis has been conscious of his spiritual journey from an early age. Born in a rural community in Greece surrounded by mountains and valleys, he was profoundly shaped by nature and the ancient tradition of village elders and healers. His connection to nature and the spirit world is an integral part of who he is – as is his dedication to the Zen training he has followed for 30 years. He is also blessed by the guidance of the Venerable Zasep Tulku Rinpoche, director and teacher of the Zuru Ling Society http://www.zuruling.org in Vancouver and Gaden Tashi Choling Gompa in Nelson, B.C. His healing and shamanic sharing stem from, his cultural roots, personal experience, and Tibetan and Buddhist traditions. Theodore sees shamanism and meditation as a great alchemy for the healing of self and others.
