Seventy thousand years ago on a plateau, a human being sensed the wind caress her body. At that moment she remembered the language of the earth. There was no duality in the response. The mind was there but something bigger was in relationship with her body/world. This experience, the act of listening to nature and reciprocal response is what we call yoga. Mindfulness is that organic attention to one’s body/mind/ world. The shamanic path or experience is that primordial relationship available to all of us helping us reconnect to earth, our bodies, to all things animate and inanimate.
Through sound, movement, and personal mandalas, we will experience yoga and mindfulness rooted in shamanism – a full embrace of the sacred.
